The Sail &
Sign Carnival's Cashless "on board"
Credit Program which allows a guest to charge purchases directly to a personal account throughout the cruise, AND Your BOARDING CARD which identifies you as a Carnival guest and
must be carried along
with a pictured ID
whenever you go ashore. You must show BOTH in order to return on board. Registration for "Sail & Sign" takes place
before your allowed to get on the ship the first sailing day. The completed application form
(which will be included with your cruise documents) must be submitted along with: -
U.S. currency - Traveler's
checks
- A Valid Credit Card - Or a Debit card registered with
Visa or Master Card. (The cardholding guest must be an
authorized signer by the card issuing bank.)
NO Regular ATM Debit Cards
WILL BE ACCEPTED!
The following dollar amounts, per guest, are
used as a deposit when the "Sail & Sign" Account is opened:
4 day cruises: $100 deposit

PLEASE NOTE - A hold will be placed
on the credit card or checking account debit card you use to register with.
This will reduce the amount of available credit on the credit card or restrict the availability of cash in the checking account. The
hold will be released and actual charges will be billed at the end of the cruise. Even minors
are required to sign up and
put down a deposit. They
will NOT be allowed to use the parents' credit card - even with the written permission
Upon completion of the Sail & Sign Application Form, the signer agrees
to pay for all the individuals they have claimed responsibility for. It is not necessary for the individuals to
be booked in the same room.
At any time during your cruise, the Information Desk can provide you with
your balance owed. For cash
& Traveler's check deposits - As the guest approaches the deposit limit, the Information Desk will notify the guest
that additional money must be deposited.
Credit card charges will automatically be at the end of the voyage.
On the final morning of the cruise, a statement detailing all purchases
made with the Sail & Sign card will be delivered to the guest's stateroom.
For credit cards - The total amount will be applied to the card presented during registration.
For those who put down a cash deposit, if there is an overpayment
at the end of the cruise, the guest will receive the overpayment in the form of a check on the final morning of the cruise.
Uses for the Sail & Sign Card for:
Cash will not be an accepted
for payment of the following: - Shore excursion
tours - In-room calling charges - Infirmary charges - Valet laundry charges -
Photo purchases: On the final day, only cash is accepted. - Any Carnival provided Video Services - Gift Shops - Steiner's Spa and Salon - Formality Shop (flowers; tuxedo; chocolates) - European Cafe (specialty coffees and pastries) -
Supper Club - Camp Carnival babysitting fees - Beverage purchases: Please
Note - A 15% gratuity will automatically be added.You may adjust the rate to fit the service received later. -
Gratuities for shipboard staff for ships with "Reverse Gratuity"
program. - The Casino - to purchase chips for the tables
and coins for the slot machines. Note: Cash is also accepted in
the casino.
